We are proud to welcome Toninho to the AXP (Aspire Experience) family.

Antônio Marcos Tobias, known to the football world as Toninho, is a former professional athlete whose legacy goes far beyond the field. Born in São Paulo in 1973, Toninho was part of one of the most iconic youth generations in Brazilian football history. A gifted left winger with a refined touch and sharp intelligence on the field, he began his journey at São Paulo FC at the age of 12 and was soon promoted to the professional team under the legendary coach Telê Santana.

He became a key player in São Paulo’s famed “Expressinho” team — a generation that included stars like Rogério Ceni and later produced talents such as Denílson and França. With this squad, Toninho helped secure titles like the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior (1993) and the Copa CONMEBOL (1994), marking his name in the golden pages of the club’s history.

His career later took him abroad, where he played in Belgium (Anderlecht), Chile (Audax Italiano), and Portugal (Salgueiros). He also made an impact in Asia, representing clubs in South Korea (Ulsan Hyundai) and Saudi Arabia (Al-Shabab). Back in Brazil, he played for teams like Figueirense, CSA, and CRB, earning respect for his technique and leadership until his retirement in 2006.

After football, he embraced a new purpose: to give back. Today, he lives in Grão-Pará, Santa Catarina, where he runs a football academy and helps shape new generations of players with the same love for the game that fueled his own career. He works alongside international agents and continues to bridge talent with opportunity.

A charitable all-stars football event that brings together former players to raise awareness and inspire communities. He has hosted the TV/web show “Resenha de Craque”, where he interviews football legends and shares untold stories from the beautiful game.

From lifting trophies to lifting others, Toninho Tobias represents the kind of athlete who turns passion into purpose — a man who continues to leave his mark, not only through goals scored, but through lives touched.
